Renault to sell the low-cost Dacia Logan as a Nissan in Mexico

Quoting an inside Renault source, Automotive News is reporting that the Renault-Nissan Group has decided to sell the low-cost Dacia Logan in the Mexican market under the Nissan nameplate. The logic behind this move is that Nissan has a stronger brand-awareness than Renault does in the Mexican market. Sales of the Nissan Logan which will be built in Renault's factory in Curitiba, Brazil will start in Mexico in a few months. Via: Automotive News (sub.
