Official presentation Audi A7 Sportback has taken place in Munich

Company Audi has officially presented the new model A7 Sportback. This five-door compartment – attempt of the company from Ingolstadt to be fixed on the market of sports coupes with rear doors. The car personifies lines of the practical versatile person, a sports sedan and an elegant coupe. The facilitated body from aluminium and high-strength steels has allowed designers to manage exclusively motors V6, and the 8-cylinder unit will appear a bit later.

First the car will receive two petrol units and two diesel engines capacity from 204 to 300 h.p. All versions A7 Sportback will be completed with automatic gear boxes: transmission Multitronic is intended for models with a drive gear on a front axle, and seven-step box S tronic will be delivered with all-wheel drive sport cars.

Models Quattro will receive system of distribution of traction effort and an interaxle differential, capable to transfer to 75 % of a twisting moment on front wheels and 85 % - on rear. The parity 40:60 by default remains. Novelty sales in Europe will begin in the autumn, thus its cost in Germany will begin from 51 650 euros.
